FEB 16

Begin work on Bist Du Bei Mir this week. Teach via solfege hand signals for intonation. Keeping the voice free is very important in this piece, so a good pre-teaching on vocal production is essential.

Both parts together on Compere Guilleri

Carve out time for IMM Baseball feature

Review other Schooldays program pieces.

Am wanting to do "parent show" next Wednesday or the Wednesday after in the last 10 minutes of rehearsal to remind the parents that we are still working on music. AYSEast girls are doing well - one or two stars that actually practice and know their words/music. We've run all the songs and they do well - just a few things to clean up.

AYSNorth somehow have forgotten Amfalula tree! Last week we tried to run the program and they fell apart on that one. I'm just running the songs with both groups and asking them to suggest things to work on, tips to memorizing and what they feel they need to clean up. It seemed to work for East and I'll see tomorrow about North.

Tuesday kids did big work on Schooldays staging yesterday--didn't move as quickly as we wanted it to. I'd like to film them next week and send out to everyone. Bist Du went well, but I realized that the copies in the folder were all missing a page--either 2nd or last page--argh!!

Worked Amfalula yesterday as well, but didn't get to Compere because of the stalemate on Schooldays.
