Tomorrow Shall be My Dancing Day -- Work words through with kids in pairs--one experienced, one new.
Christmas time is Here -- run through, holding out ends of phrases.
S'Vivon -- review basic melody. Try to memorize Hebrew words. When IMMs dismiss, review other two counter melodies.
IMMs--Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Children of Peace/Oseh Shalom (no IMMs) -- focus on Hebrew and English separated.

TR-E: Okay, my problem is that I am a perfectionist. We worked for a long time on Gavotte trying to gain an understanding that pitch-wise Fa is higher than Mi and to go from Fa down to Sol is a "pitch change" not just syllables. I also wanted them to understand 'why' we are saying Fi instead of Fa so I did a run down of what it means to sharp or flat or be natural. They got it, but we spent too much time!! ARGHH!! We began the descant of Wassail and they rocked on Compere, but that was it. We sang through Christmas Time is Here - and that was it. These girls might not end up knowing all the music, but the ones they know - they will KNOW!! Man, I need some training on pacing and which is better - crap touch of all the songs or quality work on a few?
I have the same problem with pacing, but I'm getting a lot better :-)
The trick is to pick which piece you're going to be perfectionist on and the rest can be "just get through it".
