TR-E: We began with basic rhythmic notation and spent WAY too much time going over basics - one half note is 2 beats & eighth notes don't speed up but are twice as fast. They did not catch on as quick as I had expected and hoped. We also spent more time on the basic concept that the solfedge scale repeats forward and backwards - this was not clear. So we spent the remainder of the rehearsal trying to do solfedge for Wassail. that is all we accomplished.
